Alan Vaksman is the Founding Partner of Launchbay Capital, a London- and Dubai-based private markets firm specializing in late-stage direct growth secondaries across AI infrastructure, fintech, space and cybersecurity. He directs the firm’s investment process, portfolio construction and limited partner relationships, and serves as the designated Key Person for its Secondary Opportunity Funds.

Alan pioneered short-duration, actively managed secondary growth-fund strategies focused on unlocking growth liquidity from the underlying portfolio. He builds concentrated, high-conviction positions in category-defining private companies, with current holdings including Anthropic, SpaceX, Revolut, Crusoe, OpenEvidence and Legora, among others.

Prior to founding Launchbay Capital, Alan co-founded and exited several fintech businesses. Earlier in his career he held senior roles in investment banking and management consulting at Goldman Sachs, First Rand Bank, PwC and KPMG, working across South Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
